Kwik Stop Styptic Powder for pets instantly halts bleeding from a broken nail, clipped wing, minor superficial cuts or a nail trimmed too short. Should not be used in deep wounds, body cavities, or serious cuts. Gimborn utilizes the same unique, pet-safe formula since 1961 in their Kwik Stop products, including the topical anesthetic Benzocaine and ferric subsulfate.
Benzocaine is a topical anesthetic used to relieve pain and itching caused by burns, bites, cuts, or scratches.
Helps numb the nerve endings near the affected area of the skin where the solution is applied.
Benzocaine is also widely used in first aid and sunburn relief creams.
The ferric subsulfate in Kwik Stop products helps to control bleeding.

Apply with a moistened cotton applicator to the cut, nail, or other superficial bleeding area using moderate pressure for five to ten seconds.
Ingredients:Ferric Subsulfate, Aluminum Chloride, Diatomite, Bentonite, Copper Sulfate, Ammonium Chloride, and Benzocaine.
